Corporate Commercial Lawyer

Our business law group is growing, and we are looking for an outstanding corporate commercial lawyer to join our team. If you are an experienced corporate commercial lawyer, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with top-tier clients and amazing colleagues.

Summary of position:

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in a corporate commercial practice. Working closely with the head of the business law group, the candidate should be familiar with the purchase and sale of businesses, franchising, commercial leasing, mergers, acquisitions, re-organizations, and all other matters as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Several years of corporate commercial practice experience in a law firm.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
• A self-starter and a team player.
• Excellent business development skills.
• Excellent technical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
